Samuel encourages to practice our faith together with Jesus as our vision

Leanne encourages us to give Jesus complete control of our lives. Colossians 3:16-17 16 Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. 17 Whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.

Today we gather in God's presence, in the name of the Father, Son & Holy Spirit, as the church of Jesus in worship. To praise, to pray, to gather around His word & to share the Communion together. And though we are separate we gather through the work of the Holy Spirit.

Brendan encourages us to let go of our old identity and let Christ define who we are

This Sunday marks Jamie's final message as minister at Elim Church Crawley after almost 10 years. In this sermon, Jamie shares his deep gratitude and a powerful encouragement to keep faithfully following God — no matter the season, the challenge, or the change. As he prepares to step into a new chapter, he urges us to stay rooted in Christ, united in love, and committed to God's calling for our lives and our church.

Sophie explains from Isaiah 40:26-31 that "Sometimes God takes us the scenic route" to  prepare us or to prepare our destination. He doesn't ignore us - His timing is perfect.

In this baptism message from 1 Peter 3:18–22, we explore how the gospel invites us into a new  story—one of salvation, renewal, and resurrection through Jesus Christ. Just as Noah was  saved through water, baptism now powerfully symbolises the believer's trust in Christ's death  and resurrection. It is not about ritual cleansing, but a visible declaration of faith—a  pledge of a good conscience toward God. This sermon unpacks the big story of the Bible,  showing how Jesus' suffering, death, and resurrection open the way for us to be brought back  to God, and how baptism marks the beginning of that transformed life.

In this final message of the Christ Above All series, we explore Paul's closing words in Colossians 4:2–18, calling believers to a life fully devoted to Christ through prayer and service. We are reminded that prayer is more than routine—it's deep communion with God, an expression of our union with Christ. Paul also highlights the beauty of Christ's ongoing ministry through His Church, as each believer plays a vital role in His mission. This sermon challenges us to live out our faith in word and deed, as devoted priests and faithful servants of Jesus. Whether new to faith or walking with Christ for years, this message invites you to deeper devotion in prayer and purpose.
