Christmas Sermon at Elim Church Crawley

We end our lives of faith series by exploring the life of Mary, mother of Jesus. In this message we explore God choosing Mary to be the one to bear & give birth to Jesus & her willingness, her humble praise & the painful cost of her call.

Rachel explains from various bible passages including John 10:10, Psalm 46:1, Isaiah 41:10 and Luke 4 how God wants us to have a "Full" life and encourages us to stay close to Him. 
 

We continue our Lives of Faith series by looking at Ruth's life and example as she moves from Moab to Israel. This week, Jamie explores some of the highs and lows we learned from Ruth's example of faith.

We continue our Lives of Faith series by looking at Timothy's life and his example. This week, Brendan explores some of the highs and lows we can learn from Timothy's example.

This week, Jamie continues our Lives of Faith series by focusing on Hannah and the deep pain she endured. He explores how Hannah, in her sorrow, turned to God in prayer, as described in the phrase "deeply hurt, Hannah prayed." Through her story, we will reflect on how her response can guide us in navigating and processing our own pain through faith.

This week Brendan continues our lives of faith series. As he looks at the life of King David and some of his trials, tests and triumphs that are an example for us.

This week Jamie continues our Lives of faith series with Obed-Edom. King David decides to bring the ark of the covenant to Jerusalem. However as he does a disaster happens. And the ark is left with Obed-Edom. In this message Jamie explores the theme of reverence for God being as important as enthusiasm and love for God.
