Our Mission
We believe the Church exists to "Glorify Jesus and Transform Lives." This statement underpins everything at Elim Crawley. We are about declaring and displaying Jesus's magnificence and helping people live lives of worship in awe of Him. We are also about declaring and demonstrating the Good News of Jesus's life, death, and resurrection, which transforms lives by making us new creations in Him. We want to make Jesus known.

Ministry – Serve the body of Jesus.
Mission – Proclaim the gospel of Jesus.
These priorities help us shape our ministries as we ask is what we are doing helping us to fulfil one of these.
Our Culture
These are 10 New Testament marks of the church that help us to assess our spiritual health and were we are as a church body.
Glorifying God – We faithfully proclaim & worship God in the Trinity with genuine expressions of love, reverence, and adoration toward God, and as a people of passionate prayer.
Gospel Rooted – We root everything in the good news of Christ's crucified & resurrection and the new creation life that He gives by grace.
Bible Centred – We have a high view of scripture, and our teaching and preaching are rooted in the Bible, accurately interpreting and applying its teachings to daily life.
Spirit Filled – We are Pentecostal, we want every believer filled with the Holy Spirit, experiencing His presence, love & power, and using the gifts He gives.
Forming Disciples – We are committed to being a Holy people. Believers formed in the image of Christ, who are rooted, growing & fruitful, becoming mature believers in Christ.
Loving Family – We seek to be loving people who faithfully steward their time, talents, and resources, generously supporting the work of the church and contributing to the needs of others.
Diverse Community – We seek to be a multi-ethnic, multi-age people of God that embraces diversity, welcoming people from various backgrounds, cultures, and walks of life in Christ.
Influences Crawley – We are involved in our local community, serving the needs of others and sharing the love of Christ through evangelism, missions, and mercy initiatives.
Healthy Leaders – We are & seek to appoint leaders who exemplify humility, integrity, and servant leadership, fostering an environment of trust and transparency.
Kingdom Minded – We are a church that works with those across the kingdom of God, partnering together in the work of the kingdom.

We would love to connect with you and have a simple process to help you get to know us and us to get to know you. You can either fill in a contact form online or in-person on a Sunday morning.
You will receive an initial welcome email from Pastor Jamie, and then one of our connect team will be in touch with you. You will receive an invite to our monthly Sunday Connect, which is a time with some of the leaders from ECC over coffee & doughnuts. This is a time to build relationship & get to know you. We will explain our connect groups, alpha courses and next steps that you can take in your walk with God. We would encourage you to attend several Sunday Connect's to help us get to know you and answer any questions you may have.
